Customer Reviews: Great fillet knife!August 13, 2010 Peter Nelson(Anchorage, AK United States) Living in Alaska for the past 15 years, I have filleted hundreds of salmon with it. It has the right combination of flexibilty and strength to work perfectly. It sharpens easily. I like the serrades for cutting the bones when needed. The handle is not slippery even when covered in fish slime. It is much better looking than most other modern fillet knives with the wood inlay handle and a very nice leather sheath that seems to get more handsom with age.
