I just received this knife in the mail. It was delivered five days after I placed my order.
My initial impressions are mostly positive.
-The Santoprene handle is comfortable.
-The blade seems strong.
-The knife is well balanced.
-The knife is light but sturdy.
-The sheath offers a pretty snug fit for the knife.
Some negatives:
-The Santoprene handle seems like it will deteriorate faster than a
handle made of a harder material.
-The blade is disappointingly dull. It has an edge, but requires
a fair amount of sharpening.
-The tip of the blade is very fragile. I recommend modifying the point
so that it is more sturdy.
Overall, straight out of the box, this is a better than average knife.
